A Craft Facility Dedicated to Communal Teaching and Learning
I love attending workshops at Double Island Studio! It’s a great space in a beautiful setting. Each student gets their own table, and Liz provides everything you need to have a comfortable experience, including fatigue mats, a personal fan, and snacks! There are always one or two assistants attending the workshops who help you find what you need and answer questions about the studio. Liz is always there with a warm welcome, making you feel at home from the very start.

Participant Testimonials
I absolutely loved the individual work stations allotted to participants. It was so nice to have plenty of space to work with and not feel like you were on top of other participants. It made for a more productive environment for me. It was a clean and welcoming environment with plenty of space to move around in. I also appreciated the listing of accommodations near by. It was very helpful for me to plan my trip.

A sweet spot tucked away on a mountain, but close to restaurants and grocery. Staying on site is a great way to be completely immersed in the workshop. My mind was racing with new ways to freshen up my approach to clay. As a wheel thrower, the weekend changed the way I see hand building in clay. Ideas are endless!
